In a statement in Abuja, on Sunday, by its National Secretary, Senator Umaru Ibrahim Tsuari, the crucial meeting is expected to hold at the Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre, Abuja from 3:00 pm.
According to him, those being expected at the all-important emergency meeting which would be presided over by its National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, include the following; former Presidents elected under the Party, all its Presidential Aspirants, all PDP former and serving Governors, serving and former National Assembly members.
The rest are all members of its Board of Trustees (BOT), members of the party’s Former Ministers Forum and all States Chairmen of the Party.
Though the agenda of the emergency meeting was not disclosed, however, Tribune Online gathered that the recent happenings in the country top the issues to be discussed.

According to a top official of the party who spoke with Tribune Online under anonymity in Abuja yesterday, the meeting is to deliberate the just signed Executive order No 6 on asset seizure by President Mohammadu Buhari which the leadership of the Party has already declared as illegal.
Other important issue to be discussed is the recent developments in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) with the formation of Reformed – APC.
The source hinted that the meeting would also touch the issues of the coming governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states, while it would as well take on the security challenges in the country generally as well as issues relating to the forthcoming general elections.
Our source said that the Party might be going to Court to challenge the Federal Government over The Buhari-s new Executive order.
