A former Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe says Governor Willie Obiano’s workers’ friendly disposition will be beneficial to the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) in the 2019 general elections in the country.
Chief Obidigwe made this assertion during a meeting of APGA political strategist in Awka.
He enthused that the sustainable achievements of the present administration since the commencement of Governor Obiano’s second term have further endeared APGA to the electorate in Anambra state and other parts of Nigeria.
The former Political Adviser who is also the APGA House of Representatives candidate for Anambra East and West Federal Constituency expressed happiness with what he described as the enduring political structure of his party in Anambra state and beyond pointing out that APGA would perform creditably in the coming general polls.
Chief Obidigwe further expressed optimism that the spirit of brotherhood which is the guiding principle of his party would prevail
amongst APGA faithful in the quest for the party’s landslide victory in the general elections.
amongst APGA faithful in the quest for the party’s landslide victory in the general elections.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Media Mobilisation, Mr Egbuna Amuta, assured that no stone would be left unturned to replicate the resounding victories recorded by the party in the 2017 gubernatorial poll in the state and January 13, 2018, Anambra Central Senatorial rerun elections won by Governor Obiano and Senator Victor Umeh respectively.
Mr Amuta also explained that the fielding of a presidential candidate in the person of retired Major General John Gbor, by APGA in the 2019 election would leave the party’s supporters with no doubt or confusion about which symbol to thumbprint during the polls unlike in the 2011 and 2015 general elections.
