AS 2016 draws to a close, the Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Abuja District Headquarters, Special Apostle Funsho Oshoro, has admonished Nigerians to repent and seek God’s favour, with a view to ending the current economic recession.
He also urged Nigerians to pray fervently so that God could take absolute control of the country and find lasting solution to the economic challenges currently affecting the nation.
He gave this advice last Sunday in Abuja during the 33rd harvest anniversary of the church.
Special Apostle Oshoro said it was high time Nigerians, irrespective of religious inclination, prayed to God to put an end to the hardship, as 2016 was running out.
He was optimistic that Nigeria would overcome its current economic challenges, believing that government alone could not shoulder the responsibilities, hence, the reason all Nigerians must change their ways of life, move closer to God and pray fervently to Him to deliver Nigeria.
According to him, “a lot of people thought this country would disintegrate early this year, but we thank God for taking absolute control. There is nothing God cannot do, so we must pray for the country and its leaders, so that everything can be in order.
Also speaking, the Leader-in-Charge and Chairman, harvest committee, Special Apostle Olawale Odejayi and Most Senior Apostle Fonahanmi Idris, respectively, said things might be difficult now, but Nigerians should be hopeful and pray with one voice so that God could end the hardship.
