10, 000 candidate chooses FUD in 2017/2018 JAMB

jamb-logo-UTMETHE federal University Dutse (FUD) in Jigawa state said over 10, 000 candidate chooses the institution in their JAMB forms for 2017/2018 academic session.
This was contained in press statement issue, signed and made available to news men in Dutse by the university’s public relation officer, Mr Abdullahi Yahaya Bello, said that the university short listed over 5000 candidates for the post UTME online screening who were seeking admission into the University for the 2017/2018 academic session.
Mr Bello noted that the portal of the institution was open midnight of yesterday for the post-UTME for the candidate’s online screening.
According to the statement indicated that “over 10,000 candidates in their JAMB forms chose the university (FUD) as first choice but, arising from the University’s approval of 160 as its cut-off point, about 5000 candidates would be able to access portal for the online screening”, adding that the screening exercise will last till the midnight of Friday, September 22, 2017.
The statement further stated that the institute’s Registrar said a comprehensive list of candidates who successfully accomplish the online screening procedures shall be published in the University screening portal. He called on candidates to comply with the stipulated guidelines for the screening adding that those who fail to comply would be disqualified.
Mal Bukar also informed the newsmen that Direct Entry candidates would have to wait until the University receive the list of candidates base on which the expected number of applicants who chose Federal University Dutse and met the admission requirements would be determined.
