Governor Bello Mattawale of Zamfara State has appointed over 50 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to complement government efforts in developing the state, says Alhaji Ibrahim Maaji, Special Adviser (SA) Directorate of Political Affairs in the state.
Speaking during the formal presentation of letters of appointment to newly Senior Special Assistants (SSA) on Monday in Gusau, Ibrahim Maaji urged the appointees to gear up and complement government efforts toward development in the state.
According to him, it is paramount to any political appointee to support the administration of Governor Bello Mohammed Mattawale in an effort to better the living standard of people in the state.
He stressed that with the newly appointed SSAs bringing the number to over 50 of them, the administration of Governor Bello Matawalle has further put in place measures that would assist more persons in the state.
He said the state government has introduced many programmes for the betterment of people, which include creating jobs opportunities through cash grants, educational support and given appointments to youth for them to be self-employed.
Earlier on, a chieftain of APC in the state and political supporter of Governor Bello Matawalle, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani has called on youths to be good ambassadors and shun anything capable of tarnishing the reputation of the state.
He maintained that as leaders of tomorrow, youths in the state have a lot to contribute towards the peace and development of the state.
