The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Zamfara State Command recently visited the victims of a tragic fire outbreak that claimed 17 lives.
During the visit, they expressed their condolences to the families affected and donated N100,000 to the victims in the Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.
The delegation, led by Commandant Sani Mustapha, visited Kaura Namoda on Thursday.
They offered their sympathies to His Royal Highness, Emir of Kaura Namoda, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha, as well as the Council Chairman, Alhaji Munnir Mu’azu Haidara, and the victims, including school pupils, teachers, and parents/guardians.
According to the NSCDC public relations officer, ASCII Umar Mohammad M., the command extends its heartfelt condolences to all the affected families.

“Commandant Sani Mustafa implored the citizens to ensure proper putting out of firewood or charcoals and electric cooking appliances after use in order to delimit future occurrences”. He advised.
“The command presents financial assistance to cushion the treatment bills of those affected with the sum of one hundred thousand naira only (100,000.00 NGN)”.
The chairman of Kaura Namoda, Munnir Mu’azu Haidara in his remark appreciated the state commandant for the heartfelt gesture and further acknowledged the services of Kaura divisional corps personnel from the beginning of the incident for combating the outbreak and rescued the surviving pupils of the school.
Also,Emir of Kaura Namoda Alh. Sanusi Muhammad Ahmad Asha affirmed the divisional corps office as well established in Kaura LGA.
The Monarch extolled the state commandant for his unparalleled input to security in the state and appealed the need to solidify and increase operational balance to completely ensure peace.
