White Truck Empowerment Initiative (WTEI) Project Coordinator, Barr. Taiye Edah and partners from the Nigerian Immigration Service, Lagos State Command, Captain Idowu, are advocating against girl child trafficking in commemoration of International Day of the Girl Child.
The advocacy program held at the Midi Museum, Lagos, was tagged: “Invest in Girls‘ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being.”
To buttress the advocacy for girl child rights, the curator at Didi Museum spoke at length on the exhibition “Once Upon a Time” whilst advocating for the girl child to embrace art as an expression of our cultural identity.
The International Day of the Girl Child is observed annually on 11 October to advocate for the full spectrum of girls’ rights.
