Wamakko donates transformer to Mabera community in Sokoto

In his effort to provide relief to the lives of his constituents in Sokoto North Senatorial District of Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Wamakko has donated a 300 KVA electricity transformer to the people in the Mabera area.

The beneficiaries of this generous gesture reside around Sheikh Musa Ayuba Lukuwa’s Jumu’at Mosque in Sokoto South Local Government area of the State.

Representing Sen. Wamakko at the transformer presentation, Alhaji Ahmed Baba Altine explained that this initiative is part of Sen. Wamakko’s responsibility to his constituents.

He emphasized that this gesture is a continuation of Sen. Wamakko’s efforts to ensure that his constituents always enjoy the benefits of democracy.

Baba Altine mentioned that the donation was prompted by a complaint lodged by the community to the Senator. Sen. Wamakko, in his usual generosity, directed the issuance of a 300 KVA transformer to alleviate their electricity-related challenges.

He added that the residents had been grappling with severe electricity shortages for some time. He encouraged them to use the provided facility responsibly and safeguard it for optimal usage.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Sani Marshall and Zayyanu Yahaya expressed their gratitude for Sen. Wamakko’s timely gesture. They lamented the prolonged period of darkness they had endured due to the lack of electricity.

They commended Sen. Wamakko for his kindness and mentioned that this effort is one among many made by the APC Senator to provide essential social amenities that enhance the lives of people in the State, even after his tenure as Governor.

They pledged to make the most of the provided facility for the betterment of the Mabera Masallacin Lukuwa community.
