The Governorship and House of Assembly elections in Sagamu area of Ogun State started on a good note.
Election process at ward 14, unit 15a, at Awolowo market started exactly 8 am with accreditation and voting simultaneously.
 Lawal Yusuf, a presiding officer attached to the unit said official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived the polling unit at about 6:45 a.m.
He told Tribune Online that card readers were functioning well and security operatives were fully on ground to ensure adequate security.
At Ward 14, unit 5, Awolowo market, the election process was going on smoothly as electorate conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
When our correspondent arrived at ward 12, unit 7, Isote in Sagamu, voting had already commenced. It was gathered that materials arrived around 7:30 and voting started around 8 am.
The presiding officer, Abbey Samson, he said the election has been going smoothly.
Samson said there was no logistic problem.
There were a large turnout of voters in the two wards and also the presence of security personnel.
