A tricyclist was stoned to death by an angry crowd in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State, after reportedly stabbing a passenger to death over N50 quarrel.
According to reports, the unfortunate tragedy occurred on Wednesday evening, April 19, in Yenizue-Epie Town.
According to accounts, the tricyclist stabbed the young man, known as ThankGod Douglas, in the lower abdomen after he gave him N100 instead of N150.
He attempted to run but was apprehended by the mob. When they realized the victim had died, they beat the suspect to death and set his body on fire.

The event sparked an outburst of violence in the region, and numerous tricycles were set ablaze.
