Despite his unpresidential appearance, he appeared not to be fazed, though he equally sat in a chair that bore no semblance to the least in his current Aso Rock abode and was about having a commoner’s meal. When the lean meal was served him, he was set to eat with relish, mumbling something about needing me for something he didn’t mention. I assured him of my obligation. Then in the course of the meal, President Buhari, who was about smiling about something I couldn’t figure or a thought I couldn’t read, suddenly fell from the seat and was on his fours. He was as surprised as helpless. He couldn’t get up. He tried lifting his head but it just hung midway into the lifting-effort. I sat bemused but couldn’t help this fallen president. And I woke up.
Late renowned man-of-God, Pastor Kenneth E. Hagin wrote in arguably his most-powerful book “The Believer’s Authority” that if you had a revelation whose meaning(s) didn’t come to you immediately you got up, you should forget it. But this came so brightly without any struggle. The president will only eat his presidential meal in peace if he will humble himself. That was why God put him in a humble setting and humbling set-up, making him humility meal. But God must have seen through his inner-man, the real us, which relates with the Celestial. Maybe what he found amusing for the loaded smile, wasn’t amusing for God. Then he threw the president down in the course of the meal, or more like, allowing the president to fall and leaving not only his back but every other part, bare. An unclothed fellow in the spiritual is certain for shame in the physical, except the mercy of God, comes through for him or her.
Am I surprised the administration of President Buhari has become the crisis code for governance. I’m only worried the president didn’t rise.
I’m more worried that Nigerians are celebrating the constant missteps, scandals, failures and hopelessness of the bumbling Buhari administration. It is not Buhari’s Nigeria that is being messed up by the president’s core loyalists and as revealed in the running Maina opera, with the active connivance and direct endorsement of the president, it is Nigerians’ Nigeria. If this administration ends the way it is going, eating itself up from the inside, it will be another wasted four years for all Nigerians, in a time and season that the serious slice of the globe is no longer content with supersonic flying speed in developmental agenda.
If the head is sick, the whole body can’t claim better health. In a society that is heavily dependent on government’s survival for survival like ours, the president who is the all-in-all in our brand of democracy must be everybody’s concern. Yes, I know about Divine economy for Kingdom children, but does the Holy Book not say something about wishing our Jerusalem (the land) well and eating its bounty?

No genuine child of God, irrespective of faith, will shrug off the unusual happenings in the land today; government becoming opposition to itself, falcons becoming deliberately deaf to the falconers, wife and daughter splashing mud on the man of the house in the public when they should be laying their lives down to ensure he sees no reproach, two senior administration officials belittling a literally and figuratively sitting and befuddled VP, the president practically derobed in market place, et al.
Habakkuk says the vision is for an appointed time. It will surely speak. The president is naked and down in the spiritual. The spiritual controls the physical. No human strategy, including the lip-sync theory of Bro. Femi Adesina, will save the president, his administration and Nigeria from the everyday reproach that has now become the lot of this nation.
The solution isn’t voting in PDP, or a new party in 2019. If the new leader is also an enemy of God, his fate would be worse than President Buhari’s. What is needed is a spiritual turn-around. No, not religious experiment. A genuine repentance and return to God in the inner man, not an outward vainglorious display of empty spirituality. God is Spirit and those who will genuinely worship and serve Him, must so do, in spirit and truth. Those who wish may laugh away what seems like religious escapism from someone who isn’t ready to roll up his sleeves. Where today, is the West and Europe that once carried on as if God wasn’t needed in their successes? Mr. President, in the vision, you said you needed me for an errand. With all modesty, here I am, delivering God’s message to you. Until, He clothes you, by His mercies, in the spiritual and lifts you up again, no scheme of man or marabouts will halt the current free-fall of your integrity and name. He is the God of turnaround. Please release your heart to Him. Seek Him truthfully with a contrite heart and He will turn things around for you. Please sir, can you start by searching your heart for that particular amusing thought that got you thrown down? It is well sir.
