Sokoto State Water Board has disclosed that concrete measures are being taken to sustain water supply to people within the state capital and its environs.
This is contained in a statement issued by the General Manager of the board Engineer Ahmed Moyi Tambuwal, to newsmen in the state.
He said, “the drop in power supply in the state is hindering effective services of the board.
“We promised that the board would not relent in its effort of providing water to people.
“We on our part, therefore, solicited support and understanding from people assuring that they would continue to enjoy portable water supply” he added.
