Sleep and my health

I am a 70-year old man. Since it is said that elderly people don’t need much sleep, kindly let me know how much sleep I need.

It is a misconception that elderly people don’t need much sleep. Older adults need about the same amount of sleep as all adults—seven to nine hours each night. However, older people tend to go to sleep earlier and get up earlier than they did when they were younger.
