Leader of the Islamic Movement In Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shiites, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat, have arrived New Delhi, the capital city of India for medical treatment.
El-Zakzaky was seen in a photograph released being received by doctors on his arrival to a hospital on a wheel chair.
The Shiites leader was flown out of Nigeria from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Monday evening, enroute Dubai, where he had a stop over, around 4:00 am, and later arrived India Tuesday afternoon.
El-Zakzaky and his wife had been granted permission by the court in Kaduna last week to seek medical treatment in India.
