Nollywood actress Regina Daniels appears to be maintaining a vibrant social life amid the turbulence surrounding her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
The film star was recently spotted in Lagos enjoying a lively evening with her mother, siblings and music star Peter Okoye.
Daniels and the Okoye family were seen at the singer’s clothing store before later heading out to a club. In one of the widely circulated videos, the actress engaged in a playful dance battle with Okoye, drawing admiration from onlookers.
Since her separation from Nwoko, the mother of two has been noticeably active in public, sharing lighter moments with friends and family.
Earlier, Daniels announced her return to work through an Instagram post, sharing a promotional video and revealing that she was focused on rebuilding financially. The actress had also posted photos of herself dressed in black, saying the outfit symbolised mourning her past, while advising Nwoko to move on and “get a new wife” to console himself.
Following her brother’s release from detention, Daniels publicly appreciated the outpouring of love she received from supporters.
She also mocked her estranged husband’s expectation that public sympathy would swing in his favour. In another post, the actress highlighted the strength of her support system, noting that the encouragement from fans, mothers and aunties across the country often left her emotional.
Regina’s recent public appearances and social media statements come weeks after she accused Nwoko of domestic abuse. In a viral video, she tearfully claimed she was not treated as a queen in her husband’s home, an allegation that intensified public scrutiny of the marriage.
