The Convener of the Nigerian Marketing Award (NMA)has said the Award Secretariat has highlighted the need to recognise and celebrate marketing excellence, since they remain key ingredients to the growth of marketing practice.
The former President, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), explained that one of the objectives of introducing the annual marketing Awards stemmed from the need to recognise and celebrate marketing excellence and stimulate growth and excellence in the space.
He stated that this year’s thematic focus, woven around ‘Driving Impact, Inspiring Change’, underscores the Awards’ mission of celebrating marketing that not only delivers measurable business results, but also shapes culture, society, and the future of brands.
Agenmonmen added that one of the highlights of this year’s Awards is the introduction of two new categories: Best Use of AI in Marketing and Best Spice Brand, to reflect the industry’s evolving priorities and consumer trends.
He stated further that the 2025 edition of the Award, which would officially commence on August 15, this year, with submission of entries into the different categories, would see participants slug it out in 31 different categories in November, after submission of entries must have been concluded on Monday, September 30, this year.
The former NIMN boss also announced the decision of the organisers, to give a ‘15% early bird discount’ incentive to individuals and organisations, submitting entries by Thursday, September 5, 2025.
