The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) through its Corporate Social Responsibility programme tagged ‘His Love Foundation’ has expanded its coast to affect many lives through its charity initiative, just as it also announced the donation of a full-fledged dialysis centre to be named ‘Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis Centre at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu’ to the Ogun State government as part of the activities of the third anniversary of the foundation and the commencement of the 69th annual convention of the church.
Speaking at the world press conference in Lagos, the Intercontinental Overseer, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the church, Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, told Tribune Church News that the foundation had impacted over 130 million people spending N18, 444, 618, 335.97 on a series of CSR activities covering the six points of concern of the foundation.
Iluyomade also announced the launch of a new crowd funding campaign to raise and dispense funds in a honourable, transparent, sustainable and structured manner, with a view to continuing to deepen its initiatives, spread, and broaden the level of impacts in benefiting millions of Nigerians that are in desperate and dire needs.
“In the last three years, the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria had spent on various CSR activities over N18, 444, 618, 335.97, impacting over 130,753,857 people in its 43,000 operating centres spread across the 36 states of the federation.
“The funding to be raised will be used to support His Love Foundation’s efforts in addressing a wide variety of in-the-moment, on-the-ground needs in six specific areas of health, education, feeding, social enterprise, rehabilitation and prisons at the local, state, national and international level,” he said.
