Ramadan, which has just ended, was a time of goodness, value, blessings, and spiritual growth for Muslims worldwide, including children.
During the holy mouth, children should know about Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power, a very special night in Ramadan. It is when Allah (SWT) revealed the Quran.
Other lessons from Ramadan
Reason and wisdom of Ramadan changing dates (it follows the lunar calendar and strengthens the connection with God, irrespective of locations and circumstances)
Positive social and behavioural habits (adapting to fasting builds psychological flexibility, and social gatherings strengthen community bonds)
Food awareness and moderation (knowing the body needs less food than you think, and appreciating food after fasting)
Spiritual growth and self-discipline (fasting and praying strengthen moral attitudes and encourage discipline and godly growth)

Encouraging charity and kindness (donating gifts and offering your time to help others brings reward to you and your community)
The value of time (learning balance and patience, and waiting for iftar teaches delayed gratification)
Children must embrace these lessons and values beyond the Ramadan season. They should continue to be kind, to give, to love, and to behave well. Above all, they should continue to love God.
