UNGWAM Magaji is a community in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The people of Ungwan Magaji have for long been abandoned by their leaders and the proofs can be seen when one visits them.
In this era of democracy, the community has only one primary school with two classrooms. The primary school in question has been built by Comrade Usman Mohammed, a local businessman who is also a member of the community.
It is very unfortunate that the people of Ungwan Magaji can hardly be differentiated from orphans that lack every good thing of life and their leaders are responsible for their condition.
Nevertheless, aside the primary school with two classrooms in Ungwan Magaji, there is no other thing that one can point at.
According to Comrade Mohammed, there is no government development project in Magaji community.
The roads in the community are not accessible.
There is no pipe-borne water, no electricity, no hospital or any healthcare centre; ,no secondary school and many more.
The community is part of the area that Honourable Hassan Adamu Shekarau, a House of Representatives member; Honourable Ali Ismail, a member, Kaduna State House of Assembly and Senator Usman Mohammed, are all representing.
I appeal to Senator Mohammed, Honourable Shekarau, Honourable Ismail and the Kaduna State government under the leadership of Governor Nasir el-Rufai to quickly attend to the people ofUngwam Magaji by providing the needed social amenities for them to enable them enjoy dividends of democracy.
