THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Honourable Ladi Adebutu, has said the party, through its programmes and policies will make life meaningful for the people of the state if elected in the general election.
Adebutu spoke during his ward to ward tour of Odeda Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday, describing PDP as the party that would run a compassionate government.
The visit to Odeda Local Government Council included meeting with various groups, community leaders and major market leaders where his five-point agenda towards restoring good governance in the state was presented.
The campaign team visited the Odo Eran Market in Obantoko where the request of the marketers for a motorised borehole was immediately granted by Adebutu in what he said demonstrated his passion for the betterment of the people.

At Eleweran Community where five wards converged to receive Adebutu and his entourage, Adebutu expressed gratitude for the large turnout and assured them he would bring good governance to their doorsteps when elected.
A statement from the media consultant to Adebutu campaign organisation, Afolabi Orekoya, said one of the community leaders who responded on behalf of the communities in the area, Chief Akinola Adeoti, pledged the votes of the community for PDP in the elections.
At Odeda town where another large crowd received him, Adebutu made available funds for the grading of roads in a very bad state in the town, a gesture for which encomiums were poured on him for being sensitive to the needs of the people.
Meanwhile, Adebutu, on Wednesday, donated two 500 KVA transformers to Itele Community in Ijebu East Local Government Area of the state and the Trailer Park along Ijebu Ode-Benin Expressway in fulfilment of his promise to the people.
Adebutu, who toured the 15 wards in the council area, promised life abundant for the people if elected on March 2.
