The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the suspension of Senator Buruji Kashamu, from the party.
The suspension of Kashamu representing Ogun East Senatorial District was announced on Saturday, as the party began its National Convention in Abuja.
On its Twitter handle, @OfficialPDPNig, the party’s National Caretaker Committee tweeted that the senator would stay suspended for one month.
However, the National Caretaker Committee of PDP did not give reasons for its action.
The party members converged on Abuja Saturday morning to elect its new national leaders.
