Participants laud FAcE-PaM for organising 5-day strategic workplan

Participants at a five-day strategic planning workshop organized by Forward in Action for Education, Poverty, and Malnutrition (FAcE-PaM) have commended the initiative, believing it will enhance their operational skills and expand their bases.

They described the workshop as timely and relevant to the services their respective organizations offer, aimed at making society better and stronger.

Some of the participants, who spoke with journalists, expressed satisfaction with the various papers presented during the workshop, stressing that it exposed them to new and modern methods of strategic workplan development.

Mrs. Abigail Hardo, the Executive Director of Aid Connect for Development (AIDCODE), was part of the workshop. She said that during the five days, she learned many new techniques about strategic workplan development.

According to her, “Honestly, I have taken a lot of notes from the presentations, which I will apply in reshaping my organization. I have learned that a strategic workplan must be in consonance with the aims and objectives of the organization.”

Abigail Hardo added, “With this, I now know how best to relate with FAcE-PaM in operation. It will enhance our relationship as well as enable us to give direction any time we notice a derailment.”

Also speaking, the Executive Director of Stonewall and Child Support Foundation, Nenfwolmwa Mafwalal, said that the workshop has opened her eyes to the tremendous opportunities of strategic workplan development in any organization.

She emphasized that her organization, which works in the area of mental health, will adopt many of the new things learned during the workshop to enhance effective service delivery.

According to her, “With the current situation in the country, a lot of people are having mental health issues that must be mitigated. With what we have learned here, we will be well equipped to design ways and means to mitigate mental health issues.”

Nenfwolmwa Mafwalal added that the working relationship between her organization and FAcE-PaM will be enhanced, strengthening collaboration for a better society.

A representative of the Network of Civil Societies in Bauchi State (BASNEC) said that the workshop will further strengthen the partnership with FAcE-PaM in the areas of effective and efficient service delivery.

He emphasized that as the umbrella body of CSOs in the state, BASNEC will ensure that CSOs update their workplans to meet the aims and objectives of project implementation.

The workshop was organized to assist FAcE-PaM and its partners in developing a strategic workplan for the implementation of its project for the next five years, from 2025 to 2030.

FAcE-PaM is an NGO established to enhance sustainable human development by addressing issues of education, health, poverty, and malnutrition.
