Alli, who has, since his declaration, been meeting with elders, party members and various groups around the state, met with stakeholders again yesterday.
Speaking to the multitude who thronged the venue, Alli identified the Ibarapa zone as also one of the wealthiest parts of Oyo State.
He said: “Right there, we have enough in agriculture, mineral, tourism, cultural and culinary to create prosperity together.
Thankfully, in the past six to seven years, the government kickstarted a process of setting up suitable infrastructure to tap into this wealth.”
Speaking to the Nigerian Tribune, he said, “I enjoyed the privilege of reiterating these plans to the party faithful and our people in Ayete (Ibarapa North Local Government Area), Igbo-Ora (Ibarapa Central Local Government Area) and Eruwa (Ibarapa East Local Government Area) yesterday, and we gladly agreed to maintain this stride towards maximising the abundance of Ibarapa for the benefit of all. All the meetings in Ayete, Igbo-Ora and Eruwa went very well.”
