Over 1,000 youths across all denominations in the country are expected to attend the 29th National Youth Convention of the Youth Ministry of the Church of the Lord (YMCL).
The YMCL is a conglomeration of youth across all branches of The Church of the Lord, Worldwide led by His Eminence, the Most Rev Dr Rufus Ositelu.
It added that programmes that are directed at attracting, developing, and giving an expression to the emerging generation are outlined as part of activities during the convention.
The National Youth Convention is an annual gathering of young people for spiritual impartation.
The Convention is scheduled to be held December 12th – 15th, 2024, at The Cathedral of The Church of the Lord located at 1/2 Primate Ositelu Street, Ogere Remo, Ogun State.
The President of the YMCL, Samuel Olasemojo, disclosed that this year’s edition would involve not just kingdom advancement but also societal value conversations that sharpen humanity.
“It will be a convergence of thousands of young people from all geographical regions of the country. The convention is a place of huge divine outpour and assembly for spiritual impartation, empowerment featuring word and power explosion, AJUBBA – worship and healing service,” he said.
Olasemojo added that programmes targeted at capacity building and a lot of other events, including relationship seminars, career exposition, character development and modification, variety events, and carol night, amongst other events are enveloped in our National Youth Programmes.
Ministers at the four-day activity include Archbishop David Fabusoro, Bishop Oluwatosin Ajibose, Dr Olumide Emmanuel, Pastor Seun Karounwi, OO. Samuel, Femi Praise, the YMCL Choir, Yinka Omoniyi, Tobi Adedeji, and others.
