Osinbajo to chair launch of book on how youths can dominate in governance

The Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu and his youthful collaborator, Alex Adekunle James, will on Monday launch a book they jointly wrote which provides the template for youths to take over governance in the country.

According to a statement released on Sunday in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, the book titled ‘Politics that Works – What Schools and Seminars Won’t Teach you About Winning Elections’ would be unveiled at a ceremony in Abuja under the championship of the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The statement revealed that the book is “a fully mapped out roadmap for upright, innovative and young elites to flood the political space, taking over the structured parties and ultimately dominating the seats of government,” considering the agitations for more youth participation in politics.

The statement read, “the manual, first of its kind in Nigeria, has 10 chapters that come with step-by-step strategies for creative, upright and young elites to flood the political space, taking over the structured parties and ultimately dominating the seats of Government.

“An 11th chapter was added, where the authors had exclusive interviews with young political office holders and documented their political journey and winning tactics. They include The Federal House of Representative members from Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller and Hon Olumide Ojerinde, from Ondo State, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji), from Kano State, Hon Ibrahim Hafiz Kahu and a Benue state House of Assembly member and Minority Whip, Honorable Cephas Nyako.”
