ACTING President Yemi Osinbajo has said that he received the news of the death of Mr. Chukwuma Onuekwusi, Channels TV State House Correspondent with great sadness.
He died on Tuesday at a private hospital in Abuja.
In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity, Laolu Akande, the acting President extended heartfelt condolences to his family, as well as the Channels TV family on “the very sad passing.”
He also commiserated with the State House Press Corps over the passage of their professional colleague, “who combined high professionalism, wit, dedication and patriotism in his diligent reportage of activities in the Presidential Villa.”
The statement said the Acting President prayed that the Almighty God would comfort his family and all who mourn “this exceptional gentleman.”
