SENIOR Special Assistant to Benue State Governor on Special duties, Abraham Kwaghngu on Monday, said that the re-election of Samuel Ortom will be a walkover.
Kwaghngu said that the achievements of the present administration in area of security were a milestone which has endeared governor Ortom into the heart of Benue people.
According to Kwaghngu, in Benue state, there is no alternative to governor Ortom because his achievements in the past three years have surpassed previous administration.
He is somebody that has been with his people right from the time he was local government chairman till he became a minister, he knows the problem of his people, so for 2019 governorship election, the election is a walkover for Ortom.

“The reasons are not far-fetched, one security is paramount for everybody and since 2011, the Fulani people have been invading us and several attempts were made to bring lasting solution to this problem and there was no solution.
“But when he came, he introduced anti-open grazing law, the first of its kind in this country and anywhere in the world where you see a governor coming out boldly to defend the law so that he would protect his people,” Kwaghngu said.
The governor’s aide said that the people of the state were already expressing fear that anyone coming now would likely repeal the law, stressing, people of the state have resolved that there is no alternative to Ortom in 2019.
Kwaghngu further said that aside from the security issue, there were developmental projects the governor had put in place across the state.
