Onyebinamma Ebuka Peter, a Software Frontend Developer at SystemSpecs Group, has officially been certified as the 96th Global Tech Hero by The Connected Awards, following numerous attestations from his peers that highlighted his skills, impact, and contributions.
Peter joins a prestigious group of recipients in the development category, alongside notable professionals such as Abbas Adeyinka Joda, Temitope Atinuke Onasoga, and Oussama Zeddam. Not only is Peter recognized for his professional excellence, but he is also celebrated for his philanthropic efforts through community engagements and mentorship.
Joy Oluebube Joel, a certified Global Tech Hero and Peter’s colleague provided deeper insights through her attestation: “Peter has consistently demonstrated exceptional technical prowess and a strong problem-solving ability throughout our collaboration. His innovative approach to developing front-end solutions has been instrumental in the success of multiple projects. Additionally, Peter is a natural leader and mentor, always willing to share his knowledge with the team. His dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies is commendable, and his ability to adapt to new challenges is impressive.”
Awonusi Olajide also highlighted Peter’s significant contributions: “While working at ICS Outsourcing, Peter researched and designed the Providus Bank Feedback Monitoring Application, which is currently used across all branches in Nigeria. This tool increased revenue for Providus Bank by enabling real-time customer feedback and follow-up on negative feedback. For over 4 years, Peter has also served as a volunteer lead learning community Ambassador for Andela and JetBrains, teaching and mentoring learners who are aspiring to break into tech. Many of his mentees have secured excellent jobs both locally and globally.”
