Ondo female regent charges youths to take leadership positions

Regent of Ibule-soro kingdom in the Ifedore local government area of Ondo State, Princess Moyinoluwa Falowo has charged youths across the country to be encouraged to take leadership positions, rather than engaging in incriminating activities.
Falomo, who is also a gender and youth advocate gave this admonition during an interactive session at the fifth edition of the Ondo Social Hangout, which was held in Ondo town over the weekend, where she was a special guest.
While stressing that life achievements has no bias for gender, the 26-year-old graduate of Microbiology at the Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OSUSTECH), added that she has never regretted her decision of ascending the throne.
The highlight of the event which had youths from all walks of life in attendance had a guy named Akinwande Lateef proposed to a lady he met on Facebook two months earlier.
In his remarks, the convener of the Ondo Social Hangout, a UK-based Nigerian communication expert, Mr Olaolu Adedayo who expressed his delight over the success of the 2021 edition of the annual event, noted that the focus of the event is to bring together social media users in Ondo state and environs at least once in a year in order for them to physically relate for the purpose of deepening communication and networking.
“Since it began in Ondo it has also served as an avenue for young entrepreneurs in the state to get together and see how they can collaborate.
“It has also being where friendship is ignited and relationships cemented. As the convener, I met my wife on Facebook too,” he said.
