The Ondo State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ONDOCIMMA) has congratulated the newly-elected governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory in last Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
The congratulatory message was delivered by the president of ONDOCCIMA, Otunba Olumide Araoyinbo on Friday in a statement, personally signed by him
Araoyinbo hailed the victory of Governor Aiyedatiwa as a “well-deserved victory.”
The ONDOCIMMA president, who is a former majority leader of the state house of assembly, described the victory as a testament to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s exemplary leadership and the acceptance of the All Progressives Party (APC) by the people of the state.
While urging the governor to show more interest in the activities of ONDOCIMMA and its members, who he described as the pillars of the economy of the state, Araoyinbo expressed the readiness of the business community in the state to work with the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa in his desire to further consolidate the achievements of his administration, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, education and economic growth.
He urged the governor to remain steadfast in his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ondo State.
The statement reads in part: “Your re-election is a loud message by the people of the state on the acceptance of the All Progressives Party as the political of choice and a further indication of their confidence and support in you and your administration.
“ONDOCIMMA as a body of businessmen and women in the state are ready to work with you in your unshakable desire to drive the economy of Ondo state and grow it to an enviable height.
“On behalf of myself and all the good and hardworking businessmen and women in Ondo state, I congratulate you on this well-deserved victory.
“I pray that God almighty will imbue you with the strength and wisdom to continue to bring prosperity, peace, and progress to Ondo State and its people.”
