AN adage says a good term deserves another. It is good to appreciate what you have, where you are and who you are with at particular moments. The people of Kajola Local Government area of Oyo State will never forget the good gesture of President Muhammadu Buhari in hurry.

It is worthy of note to commend and hail President Buhari’s administration for mobilizing the Federal Road Maintenance Agency to site and rehabilitate Okeho-Iseyin road to ease the movement of people.
It is natural for the people of Kajola Local Government area to give back what President Muhammadu Buhari has given them by doing the needful in the 2019 general elections. His administration saved many residents from untimely death as a result of deplorable state of Okeho-Iseyin road.
In the past, many people lost their lives and properties while transporting goods and services to other parts of the state for economic prosperity. The current administration deemed it fit to repair the road which has been in the state of disrepair for long leading to a reduction in cases of incessant armed robbery attacks on traders and motorists.
The Okeho-Iseyin road links towns in Kajola with Iseyin and Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state.
It is pertinent to note that transportation plays a huge role in the business of commerce and industry in regards to movement of goods, knowing that majority of the residents of this local government are traders and farmers. The repair has helped a lot in this regard of transporting the finishing goods to the markets.
The deplorable state of the roads is one of the numerous challenges facing the people of Kajola Local Government area from time immemorial. Although, successful administrations have in the past made efforts but it didn’t materialise or yield results.
It’s time for another election, the residents of the council should not make the past mistakes, they need to support the government that helped them overcome one of the challenges facing the area.
Democracy provides opportunities for electorate to make an informed decision that would better their lives. This is not about politics but development, President Buhari should be compensated to consolidate on his achievements on infrastructure. Like Oliver Twist always asks for more, the people of Kajola Local Government area of Oyo state will be a lot happier if this administration can provide more social amenities and infrastructure to the towns that constitute the council like Ayetoro-Oke, they want government to repair more roads in the area, Like Okeho to Iganna, Ilero to Otu and other roads.
The farmers are in dire need of loans to boost their businesses. The people of the area are soliciting for Federal University, Polytechnic and Colleges of Education in the community; this will bring great development to the area.
The community has as many as possible competent and qualified individuals for appointments.
