Governorship and Senatorial candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Chief Great Ogboru and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege have vowed to resuscitate the abandoned and re-engineer youths in the state for productivity.
The duo made the promise Tuesday in Sapele during while addressing thousands of APC supporters at the Delta Governorship Campaign train held in Sapele and Okpe local government areas of the state.
“I know what Deltan wants because we know their pains. Therefore, immediately, I assume office as the Governor of Delta State, I will restore workers back to Enternit Company.
“I will make work available for our youths whom the PDP have, over the years, turned into hoodlums and Delta will be a better place for all,” Ogboru averred.
Delta Central APC Senatorial candidate, Senator Omo-Agege, on his part, revealed that the main stronghold of the PDP in Sapele, Ugboren Community has been captured by the APC with thousands of PDP members defecting to APC.

He said the Amukpe-Aghalokpe-Eku-Agbor road, which has been abandoned since the time of presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, was ably approved by President Muhammadu Buhari and the construction was ongoing.
He noted that Buhari has been able to lift over 8, 600 Urhobo graduates from unemployment through Federal Government N-power Programme, including appointments of Urhobo sons and daughters into key positions.
He added that the only way the Urhobo nation could appreciate Buhari’s kind gesture towards Urhobo is to votes massively for his re-election including all APC candidates.
Meanwhile, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and APC Candidate for Salepe/Okpe/Uvwie Federal House of Representatives has vowed that after the March 2nd election Deltans would know who owns the state.
He assured President Buhari and Chief Ogboru and APC candidates of 100 per cent votes from Sapele.
“I am so happy to inform you that the entire people of Sapele Local Government Area have assured President Buhari, Senator Omo-Agege and my humble self, RT. Hon. Monday Igbuya that they give a 100 per cent.
“Then in two weeks, we will return to the polls to give Chief Ogboru and Moses Ogodo 100 votes,” he noted.
