Oando board to meet to consider 2017 financial results

sec Oando confirms AGM, as SEC throws out petitionsTHE board of directors of Oando Plc has announced that it will be meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, to consider the financial statements for the period ended December 31, 2017.

In a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), signed by Ayotola Jagun, Chief Compliance Officer of the firm, the oil company said “This is to inform the public and our stakeholders that the Board of Directors of Oando Plc will be meeting to consider the 2017 Audited Financial Statements of Oando Plc on Tuesday, March 27, 2018,”.

Consequently, in compliance with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Rule Book and the Amendments to the Listing Rules, Oando also announced the continuation of its closed period for trading in its securities.

As a result, no director, employee, the person discharging managerial duties, adviser and consultant of the Oando and their connected persons may, directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of the firm during the closed period until 24 hours have elapsed after the release of the 2017 Audited Financial Statements on the local bourse.
