The National Youth Service Corps(NYSC), on Tuesday, lamented the deplorable state of orientation camps in some States.

Director-General, NYSC, Brigadier General, ShuaibuIbrahim stated this at the opening of the 2019 NYSC annual management conference themed: “Optimizing the Operational Efficiency of the NYSC for Effective Service Delivery,” held in Abuja.
He said: “In specific terms, the scheme presently grapples with problems such as dilapidated conditions of the NYSC Orientation camps in some States, Â inadequate corps lodge and lack of befitting office accommodation.
“As we strive to surmount these challenges, it is instructive to acknowledge the consistent support of the Federal government, Â especially through prompt release of funds and provision of security amongst others.”
