Nigeria records 1305 new COVID-19 cases, total now 236,014

Nigeria records 1305 cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday, announced that the country has recorded 1305 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in Nigeria to 236,014.

The NCDC disclosed this on its official Facebook handle.

“1305 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-705, Oyo-234, Ondo-88, Kaduna-79, Rivers-78, Ogun-30, Anambra-25, Kano-24, Enugu-12, Ekiti-11, Jigawa-6, Osun-6, Plateau-6, Zamfara-1

“236,014 confirmed, 212,357 discharged , 3,014 deaths.

“Today’s report includes:

▪️79 confirmed cases reported from Kaduna state for 24th (59) & 25th (20) December.

▪️12 confirmed & 16 discharged cases reported from Enugu state for 24th December.

▪️25 confirmed cases reported from Anambra state for 24th December.

▪️6 confirmed cases reported from Jigawa state for 24th December.

▪️1 confirmed case reported from Zamfara state for 23rd December.

▪️20 discharged cases reported from Kaduna state for 24th (10) & 25th (10) December.

▪️Backlog of deaths reported from Kaduna (4) and Imo (16) States.

▪️0 cases reported from Bauchi and Sokoto States.
