President Bola Tinubu has approved a new management team for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Abdullahi Maiwada on Friday.
He said the appointees include three Deputy Comptroller Generals and three Assistant Comptroller Generals.
According to Maiwada, the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi thanked the retired members of the management for their meritorious service, and congratulated the newly appointed officers.
The Acting Comptroller General of Customs, urged the new team to redouble their efforts to enable the Service to achieve greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling, and trade facilitation.
Maiwada said the appointed officers include, “DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu, ACG K Olumoh, ACG AB Mohammed, ACG A Alajogun”.
The appointment of a new management team for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is coming weeks after President Tinubu appointed Mr. Adeniyi as the Acting Comptroller General of Customs and retired some of the management members of the NCS.
