Need for tetanus injection

I want to know how often one needs to get a Tetanus Injection.

You need one every ten years and hospitals and GPs work on the 10- year booster. Often, if someone presents with a wound that may have been exposed to tetanus they will automatically give a booster as most people cannot remember exactly when their last one was.

However, it is likely that just two tetanus jabs in your lifetime will likely be sufficient for your protection.
