The wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, on Saturday, in Kano, assured that if her husband “is voted into power come February 16 presidential election,” he (Buhari) will not disappoint Nigerians.
This was just as a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Goodwill Akpabio, boasted that the forthcoming presidential election has already been won by the incumbent president, noting that “it is glaring and certain that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock.”

Hajiya Buhari made the assertion while speaking at a zonal women campaign rally for Buhari, held at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, saying the present administration headed by Buhari has laid a solid foundation for progress and positive development of the country.
She told the crowd that attended the rally that President Buhari, having laid the foundation for the country’s development in the last four years, will consolidate on the numerous achievements recorded.
“I am happy with the large turnout of women from the North-West zone of the country and I also express my appreciation to First Ladies from the South-West of the country for gracing the official launching of the women campaign rally for my husband.
“I assure the electorate that on February 16, 2019, avote for President Buhari will not be a waste and I also promise that Mr President will not disappoint Nigerians, if voted into power,” Mrs Buhari said.
Speaking earlier, Akpabio told opposition parties in the country that they were only masquerading and wasting their time, saying “there is no vacancy in Aso Rock. On February 16, President Buhari will secure a landslide victory at the presidential election.
His words: “I will only advise them to wait until 2023; if at all there will be vacancy in Aso Rock, because the teeming masses of the country are not ready to change a winning team.”
Also speaking, the wife of the Kano State governor, Hafsat Ganduje, said President Buhari has performed excellently and the downtrodden masses have accepted him to continue and consolidate on the gains recorded in the past four years.
