Music/Movie Producer, JAY VYBES condemns kidnapping of school children for ransom

Nigerian music/movie producer, Jay Vybes has condemned the new worrying trend of kidnapping school children by hoodlums for ransom.

Jay Vybes who is based in the US expressed shock and disappointment that hoodlums have resorted to armed robbery and kidnapping as a means of livelihood in several states especially in the northern part of Nigeria.

Jay Vybes born Michael O. Sajere is a US based Nigerian, Music/Movie Producer, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist. He is also the managing/creative director of Nevada Bridge Productions and CEO of Nevada Music Group (NMG).

He recently called on the government to get to the root of it by investigating the incidents and being decisive with the hoodlums who perpetuate these crimes. He expressed confidence in the ability of the security forces to track down the perpetrators of these dastardly acts. “It is disheartening that school children are now targeted by these heartless criminals, to be used as pawns to ask for ransom” he said.

He called on law makers to pass sweeping reforms that will make it an offense punishable by death to kidnap anyone, especially school children in Nigeria.
