More to Share, More to Savour: KFC Nigeria’s BOGO Bucket Deal Is Back

There’s a particular kind of joy that comes from a table crowded with people you love and a bucket of chicken in the middle of it — the reaching across for one more piece, the arguing over who gets the last dip, the noise of everyone talking at once. It’s a small, ordinary magic that Nigerian families know well. And for one day only, KFC Nigeria is making that moment easier to come by.

Mark the calendar for Thursday, 17th September: for 24 hours, every Chicken Bucket meal is Buy 1, Get 1 Free — up to 50% in savings on one of the country’s best-loved meals — and this time, it comes with even more to go around: 4 dips per bucket.

Here’s how it works: buy one bucket at regular price — 8, 12, or 21 pieces, your choice — and get a second bucket of the same size completely free, plus an extra 4 dips to go with it. That’s double the chicken, double the dips, and double the reason to pull up more chairs. Dip options include Mayo, BBQ, and Suyannaise, so everyone at the table finds their favourite.

It’s a deal built less around a discount and more around an invitation: call the cousins over, surprise the kids after school, feed the whole compound instead of just the household. Two buckets go further than one ever could — further into second helpings, further into the evening, further into the kind of shared meal that turns an ordinary Thursday into something worth remembering.

The promo will run in KFC outlets across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano, Akure, Ilorin, Sagamu, and Ibadan — one of the widest reaches of any KFC Nigeria campaign this year, meaning this isn’t a treat reserved for a few cities. Wherever families are gathering, KFC intends to be part of the table.

And for those who’d rather stay in and let the meal come to them, the deal isn’t limited to walk-ins — it’s also available on delivery via Chowdeck and Mano, so the table can be set at home without anyone needing to leave the house.

Industry watchers have called it one of the most generous value plays in Nigeria’s fast-food space in recent memory — a full duplicate bucket, not just a percentage off — built for families and friend groups looking to make their naira go further without making the moment feel any smaller.

The offer is strictly limited to Thursday, 17th September — there’s no second date and no rain check. With heavy demand expected at outlets nationwide, KFC Nigeria is urging customers to plan their visit early and get there before their favourite bucket size runs out. One day, double the bucket, double the people you can feed — don’t let this one pass you by.
