In a bid to foster effective communication on its platform, Meta on Tuesday, launched a new “text-to-text translation” feature for users on Facebook.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Zuckerberg announcing the new development on Facebook, said the feature will allow users do speech-to-text, text-to-speech, speech-to-speech, text-to-text translation and speech recognition for up to 100 languages.
With the new “translation” tool, users can easily speak different languages and communicate more effectively.
“Over time, we’ll integrate these AI advances in translation and transcription into Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Threads,” the statement added.
