The accused allegedly committed the offences on Jan. 1 at 12.00 p. m. at No. 25, the Bells Street, Ota, according to the prosecution.
Sgt. Chudu Gbesi told the court that the accused broke into the house with the intention to steal.
The offences contravened Sections 361 and 411 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The accused, however, denied the charge.

He said the sureties must be resident within the court’s jurisdiction and should be gainfully employed.
In addition, the sureties should show evidence of tax payment to Ogun Government and also submit four recent passport-size photographs to the court.
The case was adjourned until March 22.
