A 22-year-old man, Mohammed Yusuf, has been charged before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court for alleged theft of aluminium window frame.
Yusuf, whose address was not given is facing a charge of stealing.
The prosecutor, Inspector Oriyomi Akinwale, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on December 30, 2019, at about 3:00 p.m at Ekute Quarters in Ado-Ekiti.
He alleged that the defendant stole some aluminium window frame valued at N50,000 belonging to one Mr Kayode Oladipupo.

Akinwale said the offence contravened section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.
The prosecutor asked the court for an adjournment to enable him to study the case file and assemble his witnesses.
The accused pleaded not guilty.
His counsel, Mr Emmanuel Sumonu, urged the court to grant him bail, with a promise that he would not jump bail.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Adesoji Adegboye, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
He adjourned the case until February 14 for hearing.
