Maku who was a former Minister of Information raised the alarm in an interview with Newsmen on Sunday in Lafia, said that report from so many communities across all the 13 Local Government Areas (LGAs), is that massive PVCs buying is currently going on.
He alleged that some influential persons in government in the State were collecting information from PVCs especially from women under the guise of financial assistance.
“They collect PVCs from these women and asked for their PVCs as collateral promising them a loan of N10, 000 only to copy information in it.

“Why will anyone only request for PVCs as collateral for a loan and no any other property,” he questioned.
He said that from available reports at his disposal, this information would be used by Information Communication Technology (ICT), experts to rigged 2019 election in the State.
He also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to investigate the trend to forestall the planned election rigging.
He, therefore, urged religious and traditional leaders to ensure adequate voters education among their members.
