Speaking on the coming event tagged “FREIA 2017”, with theme: “Next Frontier: Building Tommorow’s Masterpiece”, that would triggers the innovation, LVG Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tommy Odama, stated that Luxury Villas Group is floating fusion of real estate, interior design and art that would be “the first of its kind, if not the biggest luxury event of the year”.
“FREIA is expected to provide for active collaborations and networking that will significantly impact real estate in Nigeria. It will champion conversations on how we can build truly masterful pieces by fusing the all three, namely, real estate, interior design and arts.
“For the fact that Nigeria and other African countries property market industry is evolving rapidly, and just as we have luxury settlements like Banana Island and Eko Atlantic City, among others, there are similar things happening cross the African continent.
“Therefore, the need for luxury real estate in Africa is growing and to meet that need, we can’t afford to be mediocre”, said Odama, insisting that real estate is more than just physical building or structure and more than laying brick on brick.
He also emphasised that the interior architecture and design goes a long way to make any structure stand out, especially, arts, which he likened to an ice on the cake.
“There are certain buildings that by mere looking at them, one will know that it’s an art piece, Buildings like Burj al”arab in Dubai and in places like Britain, France and other european countries have similar traits”, he stated.
He also mentioned that the group, in order to make the required awareness among its targeted audience, is planning to float a magazine, named: “Villas and Leisure Magazine”
The magazine, he said, would features global trends in real estate, luxury and lifestyle and travel.
“We are excited about the launch of the magazine, which will serve as an authoritative source of both local and global real estate news to aid property management service providers and shoppers, in making informed decisions”, Odama enthused, stating that it’s going to be of the highest standard in terms of content and production quality.
The FREIA event, scheduled to hold at Grand Ballroom, Civic Centre. Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, V.I, on the 18th December, 2017, would have modules of business, intellectual, cultural and artistic activities, with a gala night climaxing it.
