The Bible and the Koran enjoin us to respect those in positions of authority because the Almighty God knows about them. Hence, defamation of those in positions of authority is against the will of God.
Therefore, we should wish President Muhammadu Buhari well. Rather than promoting fake news about him, we should wish him well. Rather than spreading false rumours of his death, we should wish him well. Let us forget sentiments and political differences. The president should be treated with respect. Let all and sundry pray for President Buhari’s quick recovery from illness.
