The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Osun State chapter, has commended the Governor of the state, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola for the ongoing overhaul in the health sector of the state leading to rehabilitation of the state civil service staff clinic at the Osun Government secretariat in Osogbo.
The chairman of the NLC, Mr. Jacob Adekomi, made the commendation during his assessment visit to the Osun Staff Clinic site alongside the state Chairman of TUC, Comrade Adekola Adebowale and the State Supervisor of Works and Transport, Engr Remi Omowaiye over the weekend.

The union leader who was full of appreciation for the state governor’s decision to rehabilitate and facelift the staff clinic which was in shambles before the governor’s intervention, stated that the Governor has once again demonstrated his love and commitment to the welfare of the Osun workers and urged the governor to do more for the workers of the state.
He also reminded the governor of the necessity of fulfilling his promises on the payment of salary arrears and the monetization of the last promotion exercise which the governor spearheaded, adding that “he workers are looking forward to these goodies from the workers’ friendly Governor.”
The Chairman of the Congress also appreciated the Oyetola-led administration for the early payment of September salary for the state workers and pensioners and admonished local government chairmen to expedite action on the payment of September salaries of local government workers and teachers and pensioners alike.
