KOSSIPA boss hails Gov Ododo’s tribunal victory

The coordinator, Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency (KOSSIPA), Hajia Aishat Oyiza Omade, has hailed the ruling by the Kogi State Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal, affirming the victory of Usman Ododo, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the governor of the state.

Omade, the Coordinator of Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency (KOSSIPA), praised the Tribunal’s decision as a testament to the democratic will of the people of Kogi State.

Speaking on behalf of the agency, Omade emphasised the importance of upholding the electoral process’s integrity and respecting the voice of the electorate.

In a statement released by Dami Adenuga, Head of Media, Communications, and ICT at KOSSIPA, Omade urged Governor Ododo to redirect his focus towards the developmental needs of the state.

She emphasised the significance of leveraging the momentum of the Tribunal’s decision to accelerate progress and foster inclusive growth across Kogi State.

She noted that “with this legal validation, Governor Ododo’s administration is poised to redouble its efforts in addressing key challenges and advancing the state’s socio-economic agenda. Omade reiterated the agency’s commitment to supporting the government’s initiatives aimed at uplifting the lives of citizens and building a more prosperous future for all,” she added.
