Kano State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the Qur’anic education system, with a focus on providing a conducive learning environment for students.
According to Dr Ali Makoda, the state Commissioner of Education, Qur’anic education is a key area of priority for the current administration.
The government is supporting the graduation ceremony of students who have memorised the Holy Qur’an from Government Tahfeezul Qur’an Secondary School Kiru.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Bashir Baffa Muhammad, emphasised the significance of Qur’anic recitation in promoting peace and stability among Muslim communities.
The government has also integrated Islamiyya, Qur’anic, and Tsangaya education systems to ensure access to quality Islamic and Western education.
