The ban of motorcycles for personal and commercial purposes is still in force in Kaduna State until further notice.
In a statement issued by the commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, on Tuesday, said the following measures remain fully in place after reviewing the security situation put in place three months ago.
He said the ban on wielding dangerous weapons is still in force.
“Restriction on the movement of tricycles from dusk till dawn (7 pm to 6 am) in Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Igabi, Chikun, Kachia, Kagarko and Kajuru LGAs.
“The Kaduna State Government continues to empathise with citizens over difficulties which these measures may engender, and implores all residents to comply fully with these measures in the wider interest of general security.”
